At risk of being accused of being terse, unhelpful or dismissive :-X, or all three ;D
It's in the owners manual ;)
If you don't have one, have a look in the FAQ section as there's a free to download copy :y

I seem to recall that there are dimples in the boot floor to show where to drill. :-\ Mine was an Estate so I can't help with the Saloon, but here are some pics for the Saloon for the mounting points so hopefully you can fathom out where the fixings go. :y

I have the genuine GM towbar as in these photos fitted to my saloon. There definitely are markings in the sound deadening material to indicate the fixing points.
My previous saloon had non GM towbar fitted, with just a single square strengthener running to the two legged support just forward of the diff. I presume though that any towbar manufacturer will have to use the approved mounting points, otherwise it wouldn't be British Standard type approved.
The only other issue is the parking sensors (if fitted, of course..). If it has the dedicated GM wiring that is a plug and play with a take off from the loom that runs across inside the rear inner panel, then it should be a lot simpler to wire up, and should with that isolate the parking sensors when reverse is selected when the trailer lighting plug is connected. Other wise it will do your nut in with the parking sensors thinking you're about to hit something whenever you engage reverse. It will also automatically illuminate the towing symbol on the dash when you operate the indicators. Having said that, although my current car has the genuine GM towbar, the lighting wiring in the nearside boot corner for the trailer lighting on mine looks like the inside of one of the green BT broadband / telephone cable boxes .....

As above, you'll find dimples in the boot floor where you drill though for the bolts.

The mounting points will be the same on pre, mid and post facelifts as the shells are structurally identical. But saloon and estate fixing points are very, very different.

Hello,
Having fitted a Towbar to my Last facelift Omega, I would offer the following advice.
When you have the towbar look on the manufacturers website as I was able to download a free set of fitting instructions.
As said above the boot floor is dimpled where the holes need to be drilled through.
Before you bolt through the boot floor, ensure you remove the sound deadening mastic from beneath the penny washers. (the washers are part of the towbar fitting kit) The instructions ram this point home, other wise the mastic will depress over time/temperature and the fixings will get loose. I'd rather not personally.
I got a second hand towbar and the washers were domed and encrusted with mastic, so the original fitter obviously handn't bothered.
I did mine on my drive, it wasn't particularly difficult, so go for it!
Regards,
Graham.
