this isn't America

our legal system and payouts aren't the same

one was policeman doing his job badly

the other was ~~doing his bad hobby~~ not

There are some important differences:

this isn't America

Additional differences.

Sarah was not an armed robber and drug dealer

Being born with white skin it will not be possible to play the race card.

It would be interesting to learn of the payouts for unarmed white people killed by white police officers in the USA. My guess is the payout will be significantly less than that awarded to the family of Mr Floyd.

Of course, there were no riots for these people, or media coverage. Most people don't even know their names.

I note the George Floyd mural has the words " I can breathe now"

I imagine the terrified pregnant woman he robbed at gunpoint probably thought those exact same words following his demise.

He is a British hero though.....I must not lose sight of that. Hence the murals in a country 3000 miles away from the USA.
