The final episode of the (pretty tedious) programme he has been starring in all this week on ITV has been pulled.
His BAFTA award has been suspended.
His BFF and previous co star has made a statement of support to his accusers, empathising with all their suffering etc. etc.
Wtf ever happened to innocent until proven guilty. He has been tried, found guilty and probably had his life ruined in 24 hours, in a trial trial by media.
I despair. :(

It's a sad state of affairs, but.......in my experience, these things have to be going on for a good while before someone speaks out, giving courage to others to do the same. A bit of slap and tickle is sexual assault these days, and people in the public eye should be very aware of this.

How does that affect the rest of the cast?
Presumably they don't get paid unless it is shown?
Besides, they're apparently showing it on ITV hub if anyone wants to watch it, so not airing it on the regular channel is little more than virtue signalling 'dangle berries'.

Only 20 women are making a fuss.... ::)

I can't remember how many times I had my face slapped, a knee in the balls, or a drink thrown in my face or poured over my head. ;D ;D
But that was back in the days before PC and woke ways became the menace they are today.

No mention of his 'ethnicity' either. If he was as white as his name he would have been hung already :-X

His fate will depend (to some degree) on his position within the intersectionality structure.
He is a man which is the worst possible outcome. However, he is a black man so will gain 'victim points' for being part of a group of people 'perceived' to have been oppressed by white supremacy. :)

I can't see any criminal charges forthcoming, but he'll never work on tv again.

The Met Police have issued an appeal for women who have been his victims to come forward, so charges might be on the horizon. ;)
