Is it the song that is rubbish or that Europe doesn't like us?

Perhaps Lord Frost could organise a ROW song contest. I bet Britain would win that!

Does anybody watch that shit now? At least with Wogan 3 parts pissed, his comments were amusing.  But that stupid bloody nancy boy just boils my blood as soon as he opens his gob, so thats the final reason for watching all gone.

As for the songs, well, they have always been eurotrash.

Oh dear, yet another bad result then! ::) ::) ::)

Never watch the thing now, the last time being in the 1990's, as it is far too political and we will always get kicked in the teeth.  I am surprised anyone in this country watches it.  A waste of television time.  I wasn't able to watch Casualty! :o :o ;D ;D ;)

Fuuny how the UK always does really badly these days, yet has been far more successful in popular music than all those countries put together.
Sweden had Abba, Germany had Kraftwerk, France had Charles Aznovoice, Greece had Nana Mouskouri and Demi Roussos, none of the other has ever had an International music star that I can recall, apart from Republic of Ireland, but they always come to the UK to make their name, early in their careers.

Guy on TV this morning said he'd listened to it on the Radio and it came across totally differently to the TV , style over substance ?

I suspect that if we reincarnated and reformed The Beatles for next years entry they would still come last.  ::)

Just watched the 14 minute recap having completely forgotten about it.

Won't bother watching the whole thing. Predominantly a load of blmesque shite.

Usually there's a few decent songs in there, but this year? Nada.

Whoever wins did so because they we're simply less shit than anyone else rather than being any good.  :-X

No Malcolm?  :-\

Had tenners to place on France, Switzerland and Iceland, so should inflict some pain on the bookies tomorrow when I go and collect. Odds weren't great though.

Missed out on Italy. It's not easy when the 'Big 5' plus the Hosts don't perform their songs in the semi finals to spot if they've got any potential. Also 'interesting' that 4 of the automatic qualifiers (UK, Germany Spain and Netherlands) finished in the bottom 4 spots.

It's about time we f**ked them all off & didn't enter.

It might not go ahead without the UK's money and broadcasting facilities - which would deprive me of some of my annual tax free income - so I'm against your proposal.
