Poor little chap!  :(

The same happened here a couple of years ago and the air ambulance parked on the beach to take the kid to hospital.  :(

Poor kid awful things burns, one of the worst ones I ever saw when I was in the Ambulance Service was a kid that grabbed a sparkler from another kids hand by the lighted end , his skin had melted down to the bone.

I thought BBQs (and beer and knives) were banned on Formby Beach.
3 Teenagers were stabbed on Sunday.
It's a lovely beach spoiled by visitors. 
Apparently the National Trust got rid of the rubbish bins off the beach because the self-abusers were setting fire to them.
