Title: rear wheel arches slight rust

slight rust to both rear arches.whats best way of curing it?

I have a quality body shop close to me who will cut and insert complete new, double skinned versions, with a complete respray of the rear end of the car...........£1100. ;)

Without that kind of attention you will never "cure it" ;)

That's the only way.


But rust is always worse than it looks, so expect further work required under the bumper ends and behind the sill caps. The welding isn't the expensive part; finishing and painting the repairs are.

I had the same, crap had got behind the cover in the wheel arch and rotted the wheel arch and the sill from the inside. Take the plastic covers off from over the sill and check behind :y
