Yes.

But it won't change anything to do with the MAF. Or anything else, unless the TB is dripping with oil.

100% cam sensor. The random gearbox codes being the give away ;)

Usual rules apply, genuine sensor from a genuine Vauxhall dealer that you genuinely have to walk in to  :y

The P0100 should go with a decent clean of the breathers and throttle body. (might be related to the cam sensor but unusual for that to be the case)  ;)

Is one of those codes relating to cam sensor  :)

Nope.

2.2 cam sensor usually throws a random gearbox code... P17xx even on a manual car :D

2.2 crank sensor always throws the correct code.

V6 rarely throws a crank sensor code but always throws a cam sensor one. The difference being that the 2.2 will start without either sensor.

Put it another way, you can swap out the gearbox and its ecu, but you will still have the codes. Until you replace the cam sensor...

Okay thank you looks like a cam sensor change then

Cam sensor will limit rpm to about 4500.  Most of the time, a 2.0/2.2 will through the P0340 cam sensor code IME.

Worth reading the TCM/gearbox for other codes, as its that that is complaining

2.2: Five for five have needed a cam sensor rather than a gearbox. IME

1 personally, and the rest for other people. Most 2.2 owners don't know what 4,500 rpm feels like  :D

Although I've seen it not throw a P0340, the vast majority I've seen have.  Hand on heart, can't guarantee if the ones that haven't were 2.0 or 2.2.

But always worth reading the TCM, to see why that is raising a code.  If its just (and only just) CAN Receives type errors, then go back to codes in Engine and ABS. Ideally monitor the live data as well :y.  What we don't recommend people do is randomly change items on a whim, including what the OP did by replacing the MAF, just because there was a MAF code.
