The Vulcan bomber has just flown directly above were I live!  8-) presumably flying from John Lennon airport to the Southport airshow. What a majestic aircraft :y

ANyone know its route - not sure if I saw it at 15:20 or so.

Great isn't it.  Many, many years ago (when they were in service) one flew over my house. I swear it was that low I could make out the colour of the pilots eyes as it banked !!!!   Was just like one of those alien invasion "moments" ---- sky suddenly goes black as the shadow passes over, then all hell lets loose in your ears  :o

Even though we were right under a military corridor I only ever saw the one over the house, and he was breaking all the altitude rules -- must've come down to check out the road signs for directions!!!!!
