Bought a 522GW last month used it a few times using the suction mount. :y
Went out yesterday, Mounted it on the screen and it fell off twice, fitted it a 3rd time and off we went. :y
Got home started unplugging stuff and of course couldnt get the 522 away from the screen (or the 512 mounted next to it) tried all sorts and ended up sliding a credit card under the edge to break the suction and as you can imagine it dropped into the footwell and hit a metal objest smahing the screen. :'(
Any one know if they do repairs at nextbase (cant find anything online) or a repair service anywhere?
Also guesiing the credit card doesnt cover me for accidental damage.
T.I.A. :y

What's the advantage of buying a stand alone Sat Nav these days when Google maps on a phone is so good? ??? :-\

I like a map. :y
It's good to see where you are heading and how you are going to get there when going somewhere unfamiliar, rather than just following some robotic bints instructions. :)
That said, I always put Google maps on even when doing a familiar route as it's great for finding an alternative route if there's a problem ahead, and whenever I ignore a reroute I get stuck in some horrible jam. ::)

You could always let them drive whilst you navigate from the back seat supping a glass of Bolli...
Oh wait... :D

Can you see the flaw in this approach? :)

I knew what you meant so I ignored the mistake, as I have a 522GW with rear cam added on mine. :y

Just phoned them to start RMA procedure.
£40.60 to replace the screen
£60+ if the LCD membrane is damaged (+screen)
Prices not too bad.
