Post by: Rangie on 09 October 2021, 19:39:12
When I bought my E430 Merc about 5 years ago I purchased a private plate from the DVLA for it , when I sold the Merc I put the plate on a retention certificate decided to sell the plate via Regtransfers on the 24th of September, it sold today for 3 times what I paid for it..😄

Whatever floats his boat..😄
For me a nice few quid profit , paid £250 for it, Regtransfers valued it at £800 payable to me got a couple of phone calls yesterday someone was interested in it at £400 refused that increased to £600 refused that told them that I would agree at £750. Regtransfers advertised it at £1100 so they made a bit as well. So Indian booked for Thursday night for SWMBO & me + treating my mate & his missus for his retirement.

The implication is £750 will be spent on a curry.

Not even in my heyday could I do that ;D

Enjoy your mate's retirement bash/curry night :y
