Title: Decided to uplift myself with some proper comedy today..

So, Dick Emery, Stanley Baxter,  real fun, can’t believe this would not be allowed on mainstream television today.🙁

Proper comedians, I watched some of their sketches a few weeks back absolutely brilliant.

Me too.  :-\  I accept that different people have different views on what's funny.

We went to see Dick Emery at the theatre when he did his one man show. I wasn't a real great fan of his anyway but we went as a family group. Should have stuck to watching him on TV, he really wasn't that good at all live when we saw him.

Yes strange what we like, my favourite is Bernard manning but he doesn’t seem to fit in with them two :y
