....of retirement!
Its booked in for MOT next week, im gonna tax it and use it while i sell it.
Watch out for a forsale add soon for a good, chipped 3 litre Elite ;)
(Sorry about the shameless plug)

Then you'll use it, remember how nice it is, and want to keep it. It may not be as much fun as the Cossie, but it is a nice comfortable mile cruncher...

maybe so mate, but its too thirsty for the amount of miles i do a year.. plus i need an estate car, so both this and my rover 825sd are making way, for possibly a volvo 940 estate lol

LOL, errr, i dont want to drive a transit to work and to customers sites thanks...
plus have you seen how much van insurance is?

Decent sized diesel estate?
405 estate?
Excellent turbo diesel engines and the series III cars (post Aug 94) are well put together too (relatively speaking!)
Cheap and generally very reliable.
-
Dave,
they are cheap indeed, but finding a decent one with a/c in my price range isnt proving easy :(
I was looking at Xantia estates, but these seems rare and or expensive!!!
the 940 Ovlov has a huge boot too lol
-
Xantias are problematic......be prepared for almost annual sphere replacement!
-
LOL Mark,
tbh, Xantia's are off the list anyway.
i want something thats going to be fairly reliable.
the trouble im having getting hold of an alternator belt tensioner is not fun lol

And don't dump the old ones in a field... About a year ago there was a bomb scare when a farmer found what seemed to be some sort of un-exploded WW2 armament and turned out to be a rusty Citroen sphere... It's a real story.
-
mondeo diesel estate? as big as the volvo, but maintaince would be cheap & better on fuel
Fogot about your cossie, think i missed posts on it. Is it a Sierra cossie?? - I liked those the most
-
its a sapphire mate..
