Title: Arise!
Post by: Sir Tigger KC on 01 January 2022, 18:27:51
Sir Anthony Charles Lynton Blair, Knight Companion of the Most Noble Order of the Garter!  ::)   Yuk!  >:(

Maybe Queenie will have a shaky hand that day and the sword slips!  ;D

Controversial choice.

These things used to mean something, given to people who deserved them. Nowadays you can find them in a lucky bag, they certainly don't command any respect.

Controversial choice.
Treasonous Cant would be a more accurate description  :-X

The young girl who won a tennis match this year is also unwarranted imo.
I know it was quite an achievement ,but even so.....
A year ago no-one had heard of her. She wins one match and suddenly deserves a medal ?

As for Blair. There are no words really.  >:(

Most of the awards are entirely undeserved.

And she won sports personality of the year. As you say, unwarranted.

Sports personality of the year I can understand. She had a good year after all, and the award recognises achievements in the past year.
A new year honour, however, is supposed to recognise a lifetime of achievements, so not sure how you can get one at 19. There's plenty of time for her to turn into a total liability yet. ;D

On to Tory. B. Liar... "The turd that won't flush",  Albs nailed that. :-X  >:(

They waited 15 years probably hoping the bastard popped his clogs so that they could dish out Knighthoods to Broon, Camoron and the useless Mrs May without having to give him one , but as they say.... Only the good die young.  :-X   ;D

...dish out Knighthoods to Broon, Camoron and the useless Mrs May ...

And while we're on the subject of honouring staggering ineptitude... ::)

Perhaps if the gave one to Theresa and Katie Price at the same time as the Treasonous Cant, then it would make it a worthless participation trophy...

Not that I would complain if the sword slipped. Thrice.
