To all who made it a great weekend...
Rain? Didn't spoil it one bit... we got wet, so what? We dried out too.
It's the friends that make it special.. everyone, with no exceptions made it great again..... We're all up to having the "P" taken and that makes it fun to give it back....
Thanks to all our great friends..
Dave C and Glenn :y

Well of course we take the P when we see some idiot slice his finger with a cheese knife ;D ;D ;D

If you can store it at home then they are great. When I got mine, for a price which was just too good to miss ::) ::), I needed to do a few bits and pieces to get it up to scratch. Luckily I have space at home for it so did it over the winter :y :y :y
[edit]Oh, and if you keep an eye out over the next couple of months then you'll bag a real bargain as there are people who will sell at the end of the season instead of finding winter storage :y :y :y[/edit]

We had a trailer tent first... It was old but at under £250 it was worth it. I spent around £80 fitting electrics and another £40 odd on waterproofing and it did us fine for 2 1/2 years. Including weather similar to this weekend. In fact, the only water that came in was rising ground water!!!
I sold it when I was offered the wagon for £300 :y :y :y

First actual proper staying away meet I have been to this year (apart fron Shifnall) Had a great time, dispite the appalling weather, but without you guy's bieng there it would have been dismal. Nice to see some new faces there (and old). Hope the weather is better for the next one. Just one thought though would it not be a better idea to make it a bit earlier next year like in the summer holidays? Thanks again LK for organising it and bob for the b-b-q (not that I had any) it's the wife you know likes to eat early.

Damn good reason I got ex-Mrs bob.dent to stay on Saturday............for protection!!! ;D ;D ;D
Seriously though, it was a fantastic weekend despite attempts by the weather to dampen it, and as always, good to see the old faces and meet a lot more new one's. Must of been one of the best turnouts for an OOF meet to date. :y
As always, it was a pleasure providing BBQ services with some much appreciated help from Greg. Gawd knows how many burgers and bangers etc. we cooked over the weekend but I sure as hell don't want to see any more for some time! ::) Also big thanks to Mike Dundee for the truly superb Thai green curry and to TonyH for the excellent home made burgers and rolls. :y :y :y
The ex missus got herself a nice new miggy estate bought from Ians in a plan that came together nicely at Newent. It's not everyday that a car sale transaction gets completed in the public toilets!! ;D It meant a trek down the M5 to Devon on Saturday lunchtime then getting caught up in a 25 mile jam all the way to the Avon bridge at Bristol. >:( Still, at least it worked up a good thirst for Saturday night. ::) Anyway, she loves the car and got back down to Devon safely on Sunday.
Also thanks to JohnnyCboy for getting me absolutely trolleyed on scotch on Friday night and then Mike and Nigel for doing the same on Saturday night followed by a bit of an argument with TB and Jimbob's tent guy ropes on my way back to my tent! ::) ;D
Also got to mention JohnnyCboys missus Karen for making me (and everyone else) laugh so much. ;D ;D ;D Well done Eeyore. :D
Lastly, thanks to the work Daz put into getting the meet organised, TB for the quiz (and speech), MDTM for his usual professional help with various cars, Doug for putting us up in Timbuk Towers and everyone for making it such a great weekend. :y :y :y
