Post by: raywilb on 05 March 2022, 21:33:08
years ago when i was a merchant seaman identifying russian ships was easy. Black sea ports - black funnels with hammer & sickle .  White sea including the Baltic sea - white funnels. my wonder is what if Putin wants Rumania & Bulgaria back under russian rule

Putin said about two weeks ago he wanted Nato to withdraw troops and equipment from Bulgaria and Rumania.

That won’t happen. If he were to invade either country then Nato no doubt would be called upon to respond. Lets hope it doesn’t come to that.

According to "news" on AOL, there are just four demands from Vlad that Ukraine need to end the conflict. Stop defending themselves, Adopt a neutral constitution. Acknowledge Crimea as Russian territory and Donetsk and Lugansk  as independent territories. Hmmm?

If Ukraine stop defending themselves then, by definition, the 'conflict' will end.  ;D

Must admit that the actual wording was "cease military action", which really means the same thing.  :D
