Title: Had a nice run this morning.

1.5 miles in 11 minutes and 48 seconds.

Not bad for a man soon to be forty. :)

I’ve got you down as a 1959 birth year. The bikes you’ve owned and mention, the cars you’ve owned, they’re just that little bit ahead of my own bikes and cars. So, either you bought them older than I did or your just a little bit older than me.   ;)
Apologies in advance if I’m wrong and it upsets you.  :y

Well done on the run.  :y  I can’t run as I get shin splints, and it’s bloody painful.

My father wasn't even born in 1959. ::)

15 minute mile pace is a 'brisk walk'......4 MPH. So I'm quite pleased although I do keep myself pretty fit. :y

In that case 11 minutes and 48 seconds for 1.5 miles would be easy for a 'young chap' such as yourself. :D

We usually walk the dog for around 6 miles a day takes around 90 minutes, no more running for me since my knee ops in 2002, took up swimming to compensate, just been talking to SWMBO about buying myself a mountain bike as I fancy doing a bit of cycling in the afternoons for an hour or two, sort something out when we get back from Sussex.
