Hi
Is it easy to remove this, wanted to remove it for cleaning. I'm imagining is it a scuttle off job? no 1 part here:

Four bolts and some sealant but its a bit awkward with it in situ. I would consider arranging something with air pressure or suction using the two pipes.

How to clean that part is half way down, this how to :y

Best just to clean it still on the engine as it's really awkward to get at the outboard bolts and cleaning the mating surface is a pain too with most of the old seal ending up down the holes in the block. The majority of the crud collects at the pipe connections anyway so careful use of turning a drill bit by hand means very little falls back inside, finish off with a wee skoosh of carb cleaner as it says in the guide, or use more carb cleaner if you're changing the oil anyway.

Definately easier that way yes but :
As / when you gave the scuttle of plenum off ( or both ) for a particular job is the time to remove it whilst access is good.then it can be cleaned out fully.

Last time I pushed a wee thin screwdriver down the small breather hole, that was it, didn't feel any blockage, tbh I didn't even know at the time there was a breather box in there. I was changing oil anyway so anything that fell down would hopefully have been discarded.
Will have a closer look and check next oil change. Got my elite breathers to do soon, so will check it more thorughly on that one as well.
Cheers
