So, far away from home, Y26SE auto, engine light on. Pedal trick gave 0130 and 0150. Code reader at home. Runs and drives perfectly. Just happened during my way here. What's this? How can Bank 1 and Bank 2 sensors fail simultaneously? ECU Failure? Please help.

Have you cleared out the codes, and looked at what returns? Also have you looked at the live data for the sensors with the car running - and if so, are you seeing values for either sensor such as cycling voltages?
-
Thanks for comment, what you proposed I can do at home tomorrow if succeeded to go thar far back, perhaps not dangerous to drive this car about 80km back home tomorrow?
-
Has anything else changed? Had anything fitted or serviced? Any reason to disturb the wiring?
Gone over any bumps that could have ripped the plugs out?
-
Nothing changed, nothing fitted or serviced. Tuo wees ago added some oil. Driven only highways. I check if Ican see the wiring here where I am.
-
I cannot see too well under the car as in the parking place. Have to continue at home. I do not even remember where sensor 1s is located to see the wire. Have to try to find some pictures.

Crap fuel?

Crap fuel?
Good idea but same fuel been there two weeks, filled the tank after engine light came on. Last week towing Caravan 300km; (Mayonnaise disappeared from oil cap). Succeeded to drive back to work this morning, tonight I go home and take a look as discussed here, wiring of sensors 1, clearing codes and check what is left after next start, live data etc.
Anything else, I am afraid that this is ECU problem.

Back home, EML lit on all the time, after each start.
Cleared codes, started the engine, EML not on when idling.
Live Data:
B1S1 300-600 mV, very active up and down
B2S1 450-500 mV, very passive
B1S2 39mV, stabile
B2S2 39mV, stabile
Long Term Trim B1 -1, stabile
Long Term Trim B2 -1, stabile
Short Term Trim B1 -2...+1, active
Short Term Trim B2 0 = practically zero almost all the time
Codes left now P0150(4) O2 sensor circuit no activity (B2S1) - intermittent
Everything reported when engine idling, EML did not lit after restart. Not driven yet, as said only idling.
So, what do you say, in Bank 2 something?
-
Failed O2 sensor on the 246 side nearest the manifold.
-
bank 2 pre cat lambda lazy
have you checked for a slight blow/air leak on bank 2 manifold /cat :-\
-
Thanks DG and dave the builder, have to check the leaks as proposed. So new sensor needed, any recommendations for supplier or source? Have to go back to highway and see if EML lit comes back.
-
No comments from highway, EML did not come back, leaks later, now some Finnish Lager, holiday tomorrow as we have midsummer celebration in Finland...
-
You're three days late ;D
-
Yes, but you know, earlier it was even in the middle of the week but today allways just before the weekend...
-
Succeeded to get some live data; B2 short term trim is now and then just straight line and B2S1 is "lazy" as someone said here. Leaks in exhaust not yet checked as two persons needed for that. Perhaps I order new sensor?

Found 1#9199469 855385, price 100 euro. Is this sensor 1 or are all the four sensors for V6 Y26SE the same?
-
Old case but want to report back, after one year "thinking" decided to change O2 sensors 1 to both bank1 and bank 2. Now they are dancing "in synchronization" as well as the trims.
So it was as advised here..., thanks a lot! But better to think first before using your money.
