I met two of our neighbours out walking. Hiking poles, small backpacks with a drinking tube neatly clipped to one of the backstrap straps, in the old days people just had a small bottle of water in their hand.

Very clever you think you are, but in American with American women we spoke and referred to our plain tights as fanny hose, which is a common term.
Panty hose is just another generic term for tights.
But of course you have to make something out of nothing! You must live such a boring, unfulfilling life trying to fault other people on every opportunity. As I have said before, grow up! :-X

I don't think your fanny hose is removable, but you may be able to get your fanny pack up your fanny hose if you have a baggy fanny...
