"Hose pipe ban" needs explaining better
OK ,so I can't connect a hose pipe to a drinking water tap  connected to the "Water board"
but what about pumping water from my pond ,or connecting a hose pipe to my water butts to water the weeds  :-\

My old man, (rest his soul) bought himself a submersible pump and slung it in the river at the bottom of his garden. He went to retrieve it one day and fell in. Oh how we laughed. ;D

I saw a bloke at our local stream yesterday filling up a load of 25 litre containers with water. Must be getting desperate.  :-\
