Whilst cruising around Chalfont St Giles this morning, I came across Varche Lane.
So, now whenever I think of a long standing, regular member here of the same name, I will be reminded of the Chalfonts....
:P

Why did that suddenly make me think of French cows, and how they came to be in Chalfont St Giles? :D

You can get some cream for a painful case of the Chalfonts. ;) Not that i've ever needed any of course. ;D

Cruising early morning? Any luck?
I had to do a google to get the cockney rhyming slang Giles/Piles! Some interesting stuff for such a small place.
All those years ago, when joining the OOF, I needed a handle so used the name of a small campsite near Elvas in Portugal we nearly bought back in 2004. I wonder how Varche Lane got its name?

Maybe you bought it by accident ;D
(If only, as its quite posh, and you'd be stinking rich ;D)

I call my pile Tim, as in Tim Henman the ex tennis player. Both are nothing more than a useless, pointless pain in the arse.
