Nah our 'Enery is just a rogue. He's from Kernow, so he's probably descended from pirates and smugglers!  ;D

I used to be impressed with the impartiality of the Spanish state run MOT test centres. No repairs carried out by them and they aren’t affiliated to any garages. What could go wrong!

However recently the police swooped on a number of them and arrested in some cases all of the staff for involvement in bogus mot’s. One centre even had a mule car that they used to do the emissions tests.

I recall I had a problem with the MOT on Mrs Opti's Mazda RX8.

It failed on the first fast idle test.....which quite a lot of cars do. However, The MOT man didn't perform a 2nd fast idle test saying it wouldn't make a difference. On the 2nd fast idle test the were the words NOT DONE.

I complained to VOSA who said the MOT was not carried correctly. I got my money back and an apology from Stamford Mazda.
