Home office have offered the owner of Camelot hotel payment for full occupancy for a year for immigrants to live there not only that but we’re asked to sack their staff so as they could install their own. Thankfully he turned it down. Where do these fu(kers get off of FFS

If some of the Trip Advisor reviews are anything to go by, some of the immigrants might not want to stay there. :D

Suella is trying to stop them coming here. Trussy wants more of them.
There will be tears before bedtime in the Tory party. :-\

Yes after all only £310 cheapest room per night.

Thumbs up to the owner though. He told the Home office to car cough.
He could have made a quick easy fortune out if it. Just like hundreds of hotel owners all over the country are doing.

You can't blame them though having been told for two years that they can't open...

I dont agree. Principles are more important than money.

That's not quite what I said ;)

I guess they need hotels, as the home of the great unwashed do-gooder, Oxford, are baying for blood at the thought of Campsfield House detention centre reopening, stating we must welcome these poor, unfortunate, not-their-fault, illegals into our society.
I have an alternative solution, which also acts as a deterrent to these poor people making the dangerous trip over the sea... ...maybe the Oxford people would care to volunteer?
Its fair to say, we need foreign workers, based on skills or cost*. Its the nannying around illegals we need to stop.
* "We" decided we didn't want access to a cheap labour force, and whilst its better paid to work the benefit system than do an honest day's work, we need foreign labour. Obviously, I have a solution for that that doesn't (initially) involve shooting people, but suspect the BBC and Oxford mob would go apeshit.

Talking to a friend in Uk. Next door neighbour doesnt work - claims invalid benefit and car . Yet can mow back lawn. ( not front though)
Why is your son not working? He says he cant get up. You are all paying for that.
Nice to see Sweden adoptiing a harder line now on migrants.

Back in the 1980's and 1990's British Hong Kong had the most technologically advanced border in the world with China. There was a massive fence and the border bristled with movement sensors, infra red cameras and regular patrols. So confident were the British authorities that no one could sneak in from China, that they operated a 'touch base' policy where if someone made it across they could stay. Very few did.
Vietnamese boat people were slung in camps where they languished while their claims were processed, often taking years.
I guess we were less squeamish back then. :-X

It’s quite clear if there is a way to get here with impunity (which there is) they will keep on coming, they simply have nothing to lose or fear

Once here they remain here even if they are told to go.
Ah well.... :-X

Shooting a few may put them off, if only somebody had the balls.
