Title: fault codes
Post by: raywilb on 27 November 2022, 20:57:07
does anybody on this forum have any idea where i can get a list of fault codes & the meaning of them for a DS ds 4 . I have tried the french car forums both citreon & ds without luck,  my eml is on & urea warning appeared momentarily, topped it up & it took 15ltrs to fill the tank. initially eml disappeared but has returned.  i will have a look tomorrow & delete any codes, but it would be handy to know if any codes appear what they mean,  :y

Assuming that you have a code reader, does it not have a DTC ‘Look Up’ function, so that if a fault code is present/active you can look it up on the code reader.  :-\

Emissions codes are regulated and have to be standardised, so google should provide the answer.

Comms fail suggests either the AdBlue ECU is lacking power or has an issue (be it wiring or the ECU itself), so start  by checking wiring and fuses

I should add that all codes should have a suffix which is missing from yours, that would tell us more  :y

Update -  i  cleared both codes & both disappeared for 2 days , UO29D has come back & that reads as  -
fault in communication with De NOX system , so will have to check that out,  ( not sure where to start looking tho )
