we tried to watch a nexflix film last night & it only went to 24% . tried four in total with exactly the same result. every time a message telling us :sorry  we are unable to load your film, try another one or come back later :   i dont watch most of the crap they have anyway

It may or may not be a Netflix problem.  Without getting techie, Netflix may choose to outsource the storage and streaming to a local content delivery company (called a CDN) in order to provide a better service by delivering the content from a more local location to the subscriber.  Or in some cases, your local ISP may chose to do local caching of the content as well, under the guise of providing a better service to their customers though the reality is it's to save transit costs that can get quite dramatic on video streaming.


But, yeah, most of the shite I see on Netflix I really wish I hadn't wasted 2 hours of my life on....

Only worthwhile thing Ive watched on Netflix was Clarksons farm, which was superb.

I nearly mowed him down a few weeks ago, just down the road from his gaff.  Suspect he was taking the field route between the shop and house, due to the heavy traffic, and he had got out of his L322 to close the gate, and ran back across to his car in the pissing rain ;D
