 had previously pleaded guilty to robbery and to possession of a bladed article when he appeared in the dock for sentencing. He has 39 previous convictions for 93 offences including robbery, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, possession of a knife, burglaries, and inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent. The robbery - from 2014 - saw Turner entering the house of a man in his 50s and pinning him to the floor by kneeling on his chest while brandishing a wife and demanding money.

Brandishing a 'wife' can be lethal, I certainly wouldn't want to be punched by my wife as it would hurt.  ;D

This is why "wives" should be transported in the boot ,if they have to be transported at all  :P
