Hola,
yo recomendaria:
https://scanmyopel.com/
Con ELM327:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/303956241569?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=AlJJLYFTSCi&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=s6lrribar9s&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
Es barato y funciona bien. mostrará los datos del motor y restablecerá las advertencias

I believe the Omega 4.1 1998 model is what we would call in the UK a Carlton (ie, Omega-A).
The official diags kit for that would be a Tech1/Tech1A. It won't be OBDII or EOBD compliant, so low cost generic tools won't work. The cheapo OP COM might work, but would need the ODBII plug adapted to fit an ALDL.
One of the ABS members might pop along and be able to confirm what is best on the Omega-A

Didn’t realise it was Omega A - my post can be disregarded

Opel Scanner can do Omega A and an OBD to ALDL cable is available.

Seems to be a curious beast. The car looks to be a Chevrolet Omega made in Brazil, the first generation of which were manufactured until 1998 and were based on the Omega A. Unless I'm mistaken it has a 4.1L straight six Chevrolet engine. And also uses the Bosch Motronic 2.8.1 ECU used on the V6 Omega B, not the earlier version used on the 6 pot Carlton and Senators. And it has an ALDL diagnostic port.
