Couple of points.
Unsurprisingly , we have more speed cameras than last year..
Secondly, the police are enforcing the daft roundabout rules with fines. If in doubt stick to the nearside lane. Here is an expat thread on the subject.

Driving there is always a hoot, especially if annoying those bicyclists >:D

Never really experienced any issues driving in Spain, so not sure this is really an issue?
Thats actually a slight lie. Hire car company gave me a full tank of diesel in a crappy Corsa 1.3cdti a few years back, charging for the fuel of course. So I did my level best to return it as near empty as I could, so a ragged the tits off it, and only used gears that caused it to bounce on the limiter, even up the motorways. Still handed it back with half a tank ;D

Driven in Spain countless times, never had any problems whatsoever last time the Seat I borrowed from a friend over there didn't have a temperature gauge , found that a little bit worrying at the time though.

I was driving to work Saturday morning in pretty thick fog. I saw approx. 20 bicyclists on the road within about ten minutes.
Not one of them had any kind of lights on their bikes, and almost every one of them was dressed head to toe in Black.
Then they whine and whinge when they get knocked off their contraptions.
Fickin morons. >:(

This really gets my goat! >:(
Bicyclists should be mandated to wear some kind of Hi-Viz garb whether it's the lycra louts or the farm worker cycling home from work in his overalls or a Barbour jacket, and have lights on at all times as well. ::)

We havent had any appreciable rain for two and a half years. Reservoirs are only at 30% . Some are a lot lower. Not good going in to the dry season. Our drinking water here is assured. Farm irrigation water is a big problem. Expect food prices to go up ( more) . The next olive harvestwill be poor again. Our trees are dripping with flowers but most wont set as the tree only sets what it thinkswill mature. A neighbour isnt even going to bother spraying his trees. Waste of money ! Never known that before.

Drove from Santander to the Algarve last Year, great drive. pretty quiet roads apart from around major towns. We were kept entertained on the night drive back with a guy who took the racing line on every bend on the motorway, we thought he was drunk at first but that was just his way of taking the bends! Also watch out for the fuel stop signs, I think the white ones mean the station could be 5 miles up a country road, but the blue ones are for repsol and galp ones right on the motorway.
