Would say average price, normal circumstances, above 30 would be arround £300

I found mine to be cheaper in Summer than to renew on my old time of December.

yep would agree with scruntie, around the 300 mark I pay 385.00 for cdx 2.2i but that is also for use with my business.

Try Quinn Direct - my insurance is well under £300 fully comp and the excess is only £135 - don't know how they got to that figure.  Don't know what the service is like - haven't made a claim.

Suprisingly I find the post office quite good. £380 per annum with £100 excess. But it's not the price so much as the service that I rate highly. Wrote off my last 1998 3ltr Elite mid July as a category "c". They put £1450 in my bank account within a few days and I was able to get exactly the same model in much better nick than the original. :)

I am 26, under 1 yrs NCB, and I pay £600 give or take a smidge, and this is fully comp, with KwikFit.  Cheapest I could find by a long shot.

I've just done some searches for insurance on my corsa (due end of this month) and through GoCompare.com they gave me an insurance company called FirstForInsurance which quoted me £100 LESS than any other company...ever!!

worth a try, all other cheap companies were giving a figure all around the same, reputable companies over £100 more, but this a complete £100 less

Use the search engines * 5  but there is a specific order in which to use them (do a web search)

M&S £129 full comp, full no claims, £100 excess.
Had never heard of them. Worst Tesco  £450

Swiftcover, MV6 3.0 full comm, 152.00, but I'm old, wise and clean. What I like about Swiftcover though is they let you mirror your no claims for other Cars (5 min phone call required), currently have 4 cars with them, really cheap!

27 yrs old, 6 points (SP30, SP50), no accidents or claims though, 3 years NCB, passed test in 2004.

Costs me £485 for the year as TPFT

Obviously the main price diffo is the age of the driver & his No Claims but also what come in too it is your postcode some areas worse are than others and it pushes it up  eg  Countries leading car thefts area last year was West Yorkshire F***** Brilliant ! :(

I've jst got a quote using Admiral's multi-car insurance.
I'm astounded! A little under £300 for the Omega starting at the beginning of next month & just under £200 for the diseasal Astra come February. I'm sure the Omega was around £400 last year.

i go onto confused.com then search around for a company not listed on there with a "we will beat your best offer" policy -then go to them and try to continue the trend until someone cannot go any lower- that usually works for a while and you get a good deal.
remember these companies want your business and do have an element of flexibility so keep pushing for lower premiums or haggle over policy items like tpft to fully comp or reduced excess for less. :y

Which is what i did for the diesel shed last year. I had some rediculous quotes, mainly cos I have very little NCD on it, being my 2nd car. I got a realistic quote in the end from MoreThan .... I think - can't find the policy!  :-[

some of these companies really take the p1ss -especially the company you have on renewal, i dont think ive ever renewed a policy with the same company.
this year the difference between the highest and lowest quotes was £400+ !!  thank the lord i have full no-claims :y

I fell out with Hastings over continuous renewal of SWMBO's policy. I was told that it wasn't possible to NOT have continuous renewal, so when her policy was about to runout in the January, I phoned about 3 weeks before hand to tell them NOT to automatically renew.
They automatically renewed! >:( To say I was then given a runaround would be an understatement. It was only after I'd fired off a very strongly worded email that I eventually spoke to someone with something between their ears!
They are a company I won't be returning to, although other companies 'continuously renew unless you tell them not to.

Try  'Go Compare' via computer. mine would have been £232 comp:
But??  Gave my no claims to my partner for Her car!!  ME ?? wow!!
 Equats to, NO no claims bonus (21 again) so mine is £598 fully comp;
Driving since 1951 --so I am olde ??  all professional benifits -- Gone!!
