Post by: Varche on 14 June 2023, 09:13:20

We diid but it is hard to imagine! Things like making a hotel booking or finding a business and looking at nearby parking. Buying stuff online.

If we went on holiday in this country, we went on 'speck'.

Sussed out a few places when we got there, and chose the one that looked the best.

Meanwhile, the phrase taught to all minimum wage employees has changed to "why don't you use our app?" from "do you want fires with that?"  The correct answer to both is still "no", although some Anglo-Saxon emphasis is useful 8)

It's a good feeling.

I hear that average rent in the UK is something in the region of £1000 a month. Presumably this figure is high because it includes  the crime infested Kingdom run by Mr Khan.

I suspect you'd be hard pressed to rent anywhere here for £1k, other than maybe a 1 bed flat. Yet we are nowhere near that pointless shithole that Khan is doing an impressive job of making even more shit. Nor are we near (enough to) universities, so no students hiking rents....

AirBnB effect too. More money on holiday lets than long lets. Big problem all across Europe
