What has become of our country? Mob-handed police arresting a 16-year old autistic girl because of "homophobic" comment in her own house?
I despair.

I saw that, and unless there is a reasonable explanation for their behaviour that is yet to emerge, those coppers acted like a bunch of complete and utter bonus holes! >:(
As you say, what the hell is happening to this country? ??? ::) :-X

The police are lost.
It takes 7 coppers to intimidate an autistic girl, and 6 burly coppers to remove golliwogs from a pub.
Yet they are totally hopeless at dealing with real crime.....probably afraid they'll take a beating from some bloke who doesn't give a f*uck, and has nothing to lose.

The kid was probably right anyway. ::) That hard faced blonde WPC looks like she's no stranger to a spot of rug munching! ;D

Johnny’s prediction is getting ever closer, even quiet folk are starting to get a belly full of this shit

Is this the same West Yorkshire police who apologised profusely over a copy of the Quran dropped by an autistic child?
I seem to recall senior officers looking at the floor as they were berated like naughty children by members of the Muslim community.

If the (so say) "homophobic comment" was said when the girl and the officer were in a private house, then there is NO offence under the public order act at all.
"Sections 4, 4A and 5 may take place in a public or private place. No offence under these sections is committed, however, if such conduct takes place inside a dwelling and the person to whom it is directed, is inside that or another dwelling"
It sounds very much like a young officer saw red and made an awful judgement.
It's annoying because it gives sensible / experienced cops a bad name.

A decent solicitor will no doubt be able to screw a good few grand out of the police ( i.e. the taxpayer ) for this nonsense ?
