I eat tons, just don't put any weight on.

The only time i put weight on was when i was working at a school, now i NEVER put weight on usually, but working there i put 1/2 stone on in 12 months. Just goes to show the meals they serve in schools.

Soon as i left there, the weight just dropped off!!

Its meaningless.....I have a high BMI, eat healthily and do plenty of exercise......my other half has a low BMI (less than Tunnies!), does little exercise and eats lots of rubbish.....

Trouble is that it does no take build into account....only height and weight.

It'll catch up with you when you're older. I was about 12st for years & years. Although I would say I was particularly heavy (my BMI of 25.09 says I'm overweight!  :-?) my weight has increased since I turned 40.

Father tunnie is about 6ft2, and 12 stone, and has always been that weight!

When he was my age, he was 9stone!  :o

37.5 not that tall but never been light at all, large boned as Mark says doesn't take build into account.

Even when thin I rated as overweight, I should be about 5 stone lower than I am.

Comes down to I have shortish legs for my build.

BMI  that was old hat years ago.

it's all now to do with hip measurements  V  height (I think) it's a division or was it a *.  as they were so wrong with the BMI, why bother it seems to be sheer guess work with the buggers.

If I'm too heavy then it's because I'm under height ;D

I am seriously overweight.  The number was around 32.5 - can't remember - it went in one eye and out the other.   :(

But I've always been overweight, 'cos I'm only 5'2".  I used to be a towering 5'3½"  :), but I've shrunk (vertically, anyway). :(  The extra 2 stone has gone on since I passed the age of 55. :(  And gave up smoking. :( :( :(

I blame it on the short legs - I'm quite tall sitting down.  :(

The Omega has a very good range of adjustment on the driver's seat - don't need a cushion for once.

24.5 - that means just under the "overweight" category.

Oddly, 10 years ago i was just on the "underweight" category...total tosh!  There was the "pinch" test - and i was supposedly underweight according to that as well.

As with Sir Moanalot - muscle weighs more than fat... but don't forget:

There are lies, damned lies and statistics...
