Diesel £1.39.7 in Asda today. Didn't bother to look at petrol.
-
Paid £1.46 per ltr for E5 in Felixstowe Co-op this afternoon.
-
Petrol is £1.34.7, just looked online.
-
Sainsbury's in Ashford is 140.9 for unleaded, whilst a BP garage in our town is now down to 139.9, as is my local Shell filling station.
So prices are coming down, slowly, but is this all a ploy in advance of the Budget to come with the threat to increase tax on petrol? ::) ::)

Ploy or not.
Martha Rachel Reeves and the vandellas ( economic)vandals will put fuel tax up in the budget along with various other taxes.
Its in their DNA, regardless of any promises they made a couple of months ago.

I fear you / we are justified to think that given all the "noise" that has come out of the new Government. Like everything else, we are on a rough ride with this one!! :-X :-X

I read, this morning, that a lot of pensioners could suffer a double whammy if the tart Raygun stops the single person discount on council tax. A lot of pensioners are widows/widowers and, consequently, live alone.

Rachel Thieves seems to have pissed off a lot of pensioners with her winter fuel policy. Not a great political move in my opinion.
Also, the ginger growler is planning to stop 'right to buy' for council house tenants, despite her using this policy to buy her own
council house.

These bunch of bastards are word than the last lot by far… and that’s saying something!
