Title: How good is your maths?
Post by: Field Marshal Dr. Opti on 20 November 2024, 16:57:20
£64.31 multiplied by 12. :-X

I imagine old man STMO will be delighted to inform me his derv Astra costs just £30 a year to tax. ::)

It was £30 , but I think it might be around £35 now. If this carries on I'll end up in the workhouse  :(

While I could work it out, I'd then be compelled to count how just many cars I've bought for less :y

Just over £2 a day, which is an absolute bargain to keep the highly desirable future classic Signum on the road!  :y

Because road tax is based on CO2 output, and most diesels are very low. It's the particulates we kill you with  :)

I'm surprised Rachel is not up to speed with this. Going from £0/£30 to £1000 PA would raise a lot of money for her to waste elsewhere. :)

Diesel drivers save well over £1000 a year on fuel.  :)

Perhaps...but Ms. Thieves will have people who drive derv cars  in her sights. She has already given pensioners a kicking by taking their winter fuel allowance. :)

I've decided that once I reach coffin-dodger status I'll be running a classic as my daily (the omega will be a bona fide classic by then  ;D). Particularly once pay-by-the-mile taxation comes in.

The family fun bus is £15 something a month, which I already feel is too much.

I'm not. She's clearly not the brightest.  ::)
