More 'on the ball' than DEI hire Kamala ever was.....but the bar was set very low. ::)

Seems that JD Vance has struck again at the Munich Security Conference, when he criticised Europe's governments for restricting free speech, mass migration and ignoring voters wishes. The BBC reported hat there were lots of stony faces in the audience and the German defence minister Oscar Pistorius described the speech as 'unacceptable'. ::)
They don't like it up 'em! :)

Watched that speech too. Very well delivered and a very different to e to the Chinese one where they tried to say that they want a level playing field... Perhaps but it will be at their level so no one can compete.
China can never be a partner in anything.

I like JD Vance, he's a plain speaker and obviously not afraid to ruffle a few feathers. :y
Maybe he'll follow on from Trumpy and do a double term as POTUS. :)

I hope so. He certainly has the genuine potential.

I doubt he'll receive many Christmas cards from European leaders. >:D But it was a good speech that was well delivered.
He said the quiet part out loud, which was refreshing. :y

Ha ha well spotted. The German defence minister is Boris Pistorius. ;D
Funny thing. I'd read an article about Oscar Pistorius earlier. ::)

The next thing in German is the hand wringing guilt over their part in colonising Africa.
But from his reaction to Vance's speech, nothing got lost in translation.
