Stripped the 3.0 for the project.
Currently mid work and removing SAI system. Rather than using a plumbing fitting on the pipe, can the holes be plugged into the manifold?
Haven't looked closely how it's all attached but just trying to neaten everything up so getting rid of unnecessary bits would be ideal.

Use 3.2 manifolds.
The pump/wiring can potentially be relocated either out of sight or cut right back with a suitable resistor

That's my last option but I'm trying not to spend any more than I need to!

It's the tiniest solution but not the only one :y

3.2 manifolds will slightly improve power, as they are less restrictive. You will still need to mount the EGR, so keep the 3.0 plenum and keep the EGR plugged in, just make sure it's blanked. Can't remember how much (5mm?) but the 3.0l downpipes need a bit chopped off to fit 3.2 manifolds.
But if you want to keep the 3.0 manifolds, yes, they can be plugged anywhere.

Cheers both.
On further investigation, both the current and new manifolds appear to be solid and blank off the holes where I expected the SAI jets to enter the manifold area. Am I being really dozy? I can't see any diversion of the hole other than straight through to the gasket, but then my attention to detail is lacking.

A little late to the party having been away, but when I chopped out the SAI on my 3.0 I made up a few little blanking plates from some 4mm offcut, and just reused the original bolts with a smear of exhaust paste on the back. Perfectly functional. Replace the socket for the SAI valve with a 100 ohm resistor, as the ECU just wants to see some resistance on the line so it won't complain with a fault code.

For the EGR delete, I blanked off the each end and wired up a little cheater circuit. Unlike for the SAI delete, the ECU wants to see signals back within a happy range, so this just provides it with constant happiness :y https://www.omegaowners.com/forum/index.php?topic=149550.30#msg2008893 (https://www.omegaowners.com/forum/index.php?topic=149550.30#msg2008893)

I have done much the same on the 3.0 in the Austin and get no fault codes.
