Yep, fuel prices will probably go through the roof for a while.  ::)
If this can bring down the regime it will be a good thing for the world, but for some reason I doubt it will. :-\

Did yesterday by chance.

As long as the Russians keep their nose out of it it should be pretty swift. Iran needs a new regime.

Is this the best way of going about it? Probably not ideal, but the Iranian management aren't particularly talkative.

We've probably got 30 people stuck in Amman and Tel Aviv unless company had the foresight to get them out last night.

Yep, just done that given the latest news.  I will always remember the 1973 fuel crisis, and those smaller ones afterwards, and in those days I was doing big business miles.  The number of queues I joined in my Mk1 Escort!!   Today there were no queues and the filling station was very quiet, so I suppose the panic will take affect later, and I am the start of it!::) ::) :P

Filling up with fuel is so overrated. And tedious. And boring.

That's probably why I run out a lot.

Will I fill my car up today? Depends on my levels of CBA on the way back from the place the Nazis did a piss poor job of destroying, aka Coventry.

Hitting Dubai and Doha isn't going to end well :o

Presumably our wet fag,.I mean rag, of a leader is sitting under the stairs.

I see he has in fact committed us to help around the edges...

Although anyone who can blame George Galloways' influence for losing a bi election is hardly a voice to be reckoned with :-X

Starmer can't/won't do anything until the Americans/Germans/French tell him what they'll allow(after all we can't go round upsetting anyone by making our own decisions). It used to be said many years ago that if there was to be WWIII it  would kick off in the Middle East.

I did, as I passed Costco, and it was £1.31 for lorry juice.

Crude oil market has opened, with Brent Crude opening at $81.27 from Friday's close at $73.14!  ::)

It's already fallen back to $78.60 though.

Brent Crude now at $76.72.  I filled up this morning and diesel was £1.399 in Tesco.

Keeping warm next winter might be a bit pricy though as UK natural gas futures are up 45%!  :o

I did the galaxy a couple of days ago, the yank lawn ornament also has about 70l in that so far I can tp syphon out, but I might in future  ;D

Sizeable queues at all the local fuel stations today as the general population cottoned on/believed the hype (delete as appropriate). SWMBO has reported no similar congestion to access the plug on our drive, so the BMW will be able to access its usual nightly feed without issue.. ;D

I think we will see a lot of price inflation across the board as a result of this. Shipping futures in the strait of Hormunz are trading 50-75% above typical levels  :-[

Asda diesel was up 3p a litre this afternoon, but I haven't seen any queuing.

Two cents here 126 to 129 in three days for tractor fuel.

Gas price for bottles is government controlled with prices changed every two months.

Cost of living is going to free fall again. Licence to print money.

Same garage today 150. 20% approx increase in less than a week. Fertiliser will go up too so expect more food inflation.
The mainstream outlets like Shell and BP were 170 to 180. How long before a litre is 2 euros?

What’s happening in the UK?
