Title: Little Miss Mike F asking about Deb's Doggies
Post by: Vamps on 19 September 2008, 20:55:42
Chatting to my 8 year old daughter about possibly calling in at the York meet, and she immediately asked me ‘are the doggies going’ referring to Deb’s dog’s. ::) ::) ::)  I said not :'( :'( :'( (really)

Got me thinking, :P sure there was a competition on last weekend? And don’t seem to have heard / seern anything, so Debs, how did your doggies do? any news, got a Welsh Champion then. ;D ;D ;D :y

Anyone heard anything. :)

Hiya Mike and MissMike-Jr.,
I`m bursting with pride!.....My friend (and neighbour) Aled Owen and his dog 'Roy' (brother to my eldest dog and cousins to the other two) won the World sheepdog trials last Sunday to become 2008 World Champion (and also for Aled`s second time; as he won the first World trials in 2002 also).
The trial was a wonderful event (I cheered myself nearly-hoarse) and I thoroughly enjoyed meeting the hundreds of international competitors and their smashing and talented dogs.
I`ve added videos of the winning runs and a little news on the 'Aled Owen Sheepdogs' website; I thought you might enjoy visiting there:
