Title: remote controlled helicopters
Post by: Richie London on 20 September 2008, 21:42:32
once you get the hang of it, it is very addictive, well worth 20 quid.

As a teenager, used to do radio controlled cars (and was pretty good at it), but slowly had less time as spent more time helping run the club and doing the lapcounting software.

Still got a couple of the electric ones, and one of the petrol ones, occasionally take them for a blast...

Just bought a cheap one from maplin... Had it in the garden for about 15 mins - and in that time, I think total flight time would be about 15 seconds!  ;D

I must have crashed it about 50 times - including a crash landing where the tail of the copter was actually hanging over the edge of the pond  :o

Will wait for a calm evening, and take it up to a carpark I think  :y
