Indeed Debs this so called socialist / New Labour run State that we are all in is now quickly stiffling all opportunity for individual pleasure and freedom, that is if we can afford to attend such events due to their excessive taxation!! >:( >:( >:(
This was all predicted by F. A. Hayek, economic philospher, promoter of the 'free market' policies of Margret Thatcher in his book (1944) The Road to Serfdom London: Routledge, and he is proving to be absolutely right. :'( :'(

Folk who pass such directives would probably struggle to pass wind properly let alone embarking on a constructive career that actually achieved anything or benefitted anybody.
Let's all clap hands, raise our glasses & celebrate the fact we're paying for thier banality!!! ::) :( >:(

For as long as I can remember, at least 50 years, there's been a requirement to have a music or dancing licence to cover any performance in a public place. You used to have to get it from the Magistrates' Court, now it's the local authority.
What's the problem?
Mind you, £1000 a go seems a trifle excessive, so no wonder these clowns are complaining. :(
For the ultimate comment on the hilarity (or otherwise) of clowns, read Terry Pratchett. :)

So that's why we've not heard owt from Zippo for a while, he's been banned ;)

if they are so bothered about public music without a licence then they can stop several t4ats who drive past my window at 2 in the morning with their bass sh1t blasting out !!! >:(
