I never had a moped, but started off on a BSA Bantam, 150CC, reg LSD 56 !. Had great fun, cut the mudguards down, fitted ace bars, made a custom seat, and painted it with Blue Hammerite.

After all said and done, what is the difference between a scooter and a moped?  :-/ :-/ :-/

They all go pop..pop..pop..pop..pop..pop..pop, and in my day the riders all got shouted at to "get off and milk it"! ;D ;D ;D ;)

Never had a chicken chaser, but I almost bought one of these a few years back. If your gonna get a 'ped it has to be the DNA, looks pretty mean...

Funny you should say that, but I've got an old Matchless G2 in the garage, awaiting a lot of time and money.  :y

i never had one as a kid but im currently running two mopeds as a cheap alternative to the miggy,  i have the choice of
1994 kawasaki ar50 (does 46mph on the flat)
1989 suzuki ts50x (does 62mph on the flat)
not bad considering im edging on 17 stone

i desparately wanted a fs1e, but my dad bought me a Casal 50  :-[
It did 38 mph,its only redeeming feature was that the speedo was in km/h,so for the first few days,I thought it was a lot faster than it actually was ;D ;D
