Any other old farts remember the Moody Blues??
Me and her managed a night out last night to the Playhouse in Edinburgh, to see the first night of the 2008 tour of the Moody Blues.
Exit stage left, for those of tender years who know not of such music legends... 8-)
'Twas brill, and worth the dosh. Now starting to tick things off the family 'musical bucket list' - still lots more to go!!
Anyone got any groups/music legends that they want to see/hear - more importantly, still can - go and see?? 8-)

I'd love to see them
How many of the originals still in the band?
Three.
Justin Hayward, John Lodge (later as the Blue Jays) and Graham Edge. The Edge chap is showing his age now and is perhaps less than agile on the drums, but Gordon Marshall is absolutely brill as a replacement!

Justin Hayward had the most amazing voice, does he still have it?

Pretty much.... Like us all, he's getting older, but still more than capable of giving some of the previous tracks a doing... ;)

BTT.
Pink Floyd probably not an option now, sadly.
AC/DC are the best live rock band ever. They may sound basic on CD and look corny on video but it all comes together live. Awesome. Go see them if you ever get a chance.

I used to regularly go to a London venue called The Rainbow back in the 70's and 80's until it sadly closed down. Saw the Moody Blues there and a host of other top bands of that era such as Pink Floyd, AC/DC, Boston. Steely Dan, Status Quo, Yes, Average White Band, Wishbone Ash to name but a few. :y

Had a few nights sleep in White Satin ;D Think I heard them on Heartbeat once ;D ;D ;D
Oh went to see Jacko he was brilliant, but need to see Rick Astley if he ever comes on :y

I was about to berate all of you - but I was wrong!
I always believed the song was called "Knights in White Satin", so I thought you were all being a tad careless. But I just went and looked at the LP cover - "Days of Future Passed" - and you're right.
My wife's record, not mine. :)
