Just spent the best part of £600 at a Snowboarding shop :o
I bought a Signal OG Wide snowboard (The 159)
Also bought some Burton Cartel Bindings
(http://www.snowboard-asylum.com/images/802004.jpg)
And a huge wheelie bag to haul it all around in, because i had already bought my boots from them too (actually in their London store) he gave me £40 off the bag, was jolly nice of him.
Bought it all from the TSA (The Snowboard Asylum) fantastic people working there, give you the real info on the board, no hard sales, they let you borrow the boards and try them out on the slope (same with bindings)
Been trying out boards / bindings for the past 5/6 weeks, and finally settled on the above.
All set for Holland now :)

Thats Snowworld, in Landgraaf Holland. Right on the German border.
That picture was taken on one of five slopes, that place is huge, and its only 30EUR for 8 hours! :o

It's a con, it'll be flat really. You will need a mate to push you along.
As youre not as heavily built as many of us maybe an alsatian dog in a harness would suffice waterskiing style. ;D ;D

Would love to watch the training sessions, especially when TB tries to thwart you by injecting a stray cat into the proceedings. ;D ;D

Surely you would be training around deepest Brackley first.
I was thinking along the lines of a skateboard and a couple of long leads around the local car park, get your hand in before trying it out for real.
