hi everyone  , i have seen an omega for sale 2000 year for £1200 but the problem is it has done 172,000 miles ,
  should i look at it or leave

I would consider it a lot of money for the  :ymileage to be honest, but thats only my opinion.

Omegas can do intergalactic mileage, biu a lot depends on how well it's been looked after. It does seem a bit pricey for the mileage though

If it hasn't got a top notch service history you can do much better with £1200.

You dont say which engine? ... if its a 4pot thats probably getting towards the end of it life  :-/
