Title: Omega parts on ebay
Post by: pete.h on 06 October 2008, 23:05:37
Anybody noticed how many Omegas there are being broken for spares on ebay at the moment.

There must be about a dozen facelifts and loads of earlier cars.

Seems as if there is suddenly an oversupply , maybe due to values dropping so they get written off more readily.

Also salvage dealers are probably finding they can't sell them for repair so they are breaking them instead.

I broke a facelift on there myself a few months ago and it was about the only one so most of it sold. Don't think that would be the case now.

I know a lot of ebayers are a bit dodgy but there should be some mega bargains on there if you're prepared to barter a bit.

Pfft We just broke a car on there and aren't the slightest bit dodgy lol.

And anyone who says anything different will find themselves on the wrong end of my sharpened stilletoe's lol.

The little grill under the nearside foglight on a standard facelift front bumper or failing that a complete MV6 bumper (but at a reasonable price as i'd probably need to get it resprayed).
