 No I don't mean a diesel Miggy! Does anyone know whats the cheapest  brand new tractor that can be bought in the U.K and how much also any additional info would be gratefully received. Thanks

We have a couple of John Deere Gators at the gliding club. Top bits of kit. Probably less than useful for ploughing a field, though.

I designed the bonnet for one of Massey Fergusons tractors (can't remember the model) when I was an apprentice there in the early eighties....

As she runs a farm and is very mechanically minded she is the best one to ask on here I reckon! :D ;)

I'm looking for a medium size machine something around about the size of a David Brown 1212  but must be brand new to Qualify for grant funding

Thanks for the reply Debs I was going to p.m you if you hadn't spotted this thread. I think that John Deer plant is going to be over budget. I will have a maximum of £9,000 to spend, I've been looking at chinese built tractors that fall within that price however there is an added complication of emissions compliance
