Title: Scared of my lappy.
Post by: amigov6 on 10 October 2008, 21:39:14
Yup. i bought one. It's a Fujitzu Siemens with the proper pentiem thing & more than enough giga ram whatnot for me to surf with. Steve the spraying lodger set it up with google homepage, ebay, msn, my ebay, OOF & some other bits, downloaded ZZ Tops Geatest hits  8-) & being vista will run the free download music/film site he uses which the XP desk top won't. Should be happy then?
No. i'm lost. Have to press & hold 2 buttons & enter a password to log on, (passwords entered & setup) but nearly two weeks later the Lappy is zipped up in it's case.
   PHOBIA? :(

Its Vista.....never tried it so dunno about password.

My XP lappy just boots and prompts for password to login.......tho i could set it to login auto.....

Guess probably the same on Vista.......may just need configuring to do what you want  :y

If not send the lappy to me.......i could do with a new one  :D ;D

Sounds like you have a 'professional' version setup for network stuff. Fairly common with them to need a login/password to get them started. You can change it to assume who is the normal user but it depends on how it is set up at the moment as to how you would do that
