[size=12]I reckon there are major 3 companies that will survive the credit crunch with out issue and that could help bail the government out by lending them the money.

All bus firms as when people have to give up their cars etc they will rake it in!!

1. British Aerospace. We are not going to stop spnding on the tools of war anytime soon.
2. Novartis. Neither are we going to stop spending on increasingly expensive drugs.
3. EDF. We still need to keep warm and by increasingly nuclear means.

my comapny might survive without any handouts from the government.....but then if i wanted any help from them i doubt they would open the cheque book for a small business, i don't generate enough tax on an individual basis for them to be interested >:(
Small businesses are really going to suffer as a result of this, if i can pull my company through this then i will be lucky, happy and most likely working in an industry that is very different.

Tax payment wise it used to be Shell.

betfair are small time in the world of LBO/FOB gaming world, there doing well, but to a niece market to be fair... wont be long to a big boy swallows them up
