There have been several interesting and informative "How To " and "Engine theory" ... posts in General chat of late.  Would it not be a good idea to collect these together in one place for reference?

There has been a mention of some form of indexing system for threads like these and generally in the maintainence guide section, but not heard anything for a while now.

I quickly knocked up a coupleof quick HOW2's tonight (thought it's about time I contributed something useful :D ) - however, I'm sure the Mods will move them to the maintenance guide, if they feel they should be in that section?

They get there over the course of a week or so.

We have to copy the photos to our host so as to protect the guides content so it can take a little while
