Many. many thanks to all, and especially Chris, Mark and TB, that gave me great advice on the fault codes that were showing after I had done my cam cover gaskets along with oil breather system!! :y :y :y
Yes!! I had trapped the knock sensor wire between the passenger side bank cam cover and the engine, nicely shaffing the cable!!! :o :o ::) ::) ::) ::)
Your wonderful advice pointed me in exactly the right direction, with my mistake becoming very obvious once I had stripped the plenium and everything else back off. Without that advice I would have been searching for a lot longer than I was! :D :y :y :y :y :y :y If you were near me it would be all kisses and cuddles :-* :-* :-* :-* ;) Talk about being overjoyed with sorting out the problem! 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)
Anyway, I had to disturb the cam cover to get the trapped cable free, so although everything is at the moment all reassembled, now I know exactly what to strip off and how, I am going to re-do the disturbed cam cover, resealing it, then do a complete service with the parts bought this afternoon along with new intake gaskets. So hopefully this time tomorrow all would be complete and running tickity boo!! :y :y
